March 31, 2018

A bittersweet feeling today for the Lady Rocks as we announce that Club Development Officer,

Josh Anderson, has departed from the club with immediate effect to advance his coaching career in Perth, Western Australia as the new Head Coach of the Perth Wildcats, competing in the Professional flight of the National Basketball League!

"The Perth Wildcats are an Australian professional basketball team based in Perth, Western Australia. The Wildcats compete in the National Basketball League and play their home games at Perth Arena, known colloquially as 'The Jungle'"

Josh has been with the Lady Rocks since January 2017 in the role of Club Development Officer, and more recently adopting the roles of Club Coach Coordinator, U12 Girls Head Coach and U14 Girls Head Coach into his remit.

This past season Coach Anderson coached the U12 and U14 Lady Rocks squad to various successes, the most notable of which the U14's winning the West RDL undefeated, and the U12's winning their RDL in 1st place and claiming a silver medal at the 2018 National Challenge.

In this stunning revelation it is not yet understood how long this departure will last for, or the credibility of the source.
