Following the U16 Lady Rocks emphatic 93-45 win over St Mirren, we check in with Head Coach Tony McDaid to gather his views on the match and the upcoming playoffs.
How did you feel you girls performed today?
"I thought the girls played really well, I was delighted with today's game, particularly everybody! I thought that was a game of 12 players where we managed to get all of the players considerable time on the court; I was really delighted for those players that will still be cadettes next year, it was really good experience for them!"
What are your thoughts for the upcoming playoffs?
"We are looking forward to them! We are exactly where we want to be at this point in time, you just ask that we get better during the course of the season and I think that in the last month or so we can see that! This is still an U16 game so we go and we go back sometimes but I think the general direction of the girls this year has been forward and I've been absolutely thrilled at their attitude for the whole season!"
