It's all about their development, says Anderson

Lady Rocks Basketball are delighted to be taking part in a Development Competition in Inverness on 21 & 22 May, hosted by Highland Bears Basketball Club.
This two-day competition is a fantastic opportunity for our U16 Development Squad to get valuable minutes under their belt, compete against stern opposition and to further develop both individually and as a group.
Speaking ahead of the trip, Head Coach Josh Anderson spoke about the focus being on his players' development-
"We are absolutely delighted to be taking part in this opportunity; thank you to Highland Bears for agreeing to host. This is a fantastic opportunity for our girls to hit the floor and compete against strong opposition, providing a valuable opportunity for many of our players to gain additional minutes under their belt as we continue to push our players on in their development.
Because of covid-19, many of these players have missed out on a number of key events that they would of experienced during their time as an U14, so having this opportunity to get away from home, spend time together as a team and to compete over two days is something that we are all very much looking forward to.
Going into this competition, our focus is on two areas; first, using this fantastic opportunity to further develop our girls, and second, being as competitive as we can be at all times on the floor." - Josh Anderson, U16 Development Head Coach
